Hill Country Cold Case Region

Hill Country Region encompasses Caldwell, Jackson, Lincoln, Morehouse, Ouachita, and Union parishes, with a combined population of 280,176 according to the 2020 Decennial Census. Stretching across north-central and northeastern Louisiana, the region bridges rolling pine-covered uplands with the Ouachita River valley and the agricultural lowlands farther east. Monroe and West Monroe form its largest urban center, while Ruston and Grambling anchor an important university corridor.
